 +Durable
LEDs are solid state lighting devices that applying semiconductor
material instead of a filament or neon gas. LEDs don't have a filament, so they
last much longer than traditional incandescent light bulbs or
fluorescent tubes. LEDs do not use
fragile materials such as glass and filament which means
LEDs are much more resistant to shock and impact and will not shatter
when dropped.
+Environmental
LEDs is an energy efficient
product that reduce carbon emissions and fuel costs. Because they
contain no sulfurs or phosphors, they are also an eco-friendly product for
disposal. In addition, they are also lead-free,
UV-free, and mercury-free, and are RoHS compliant.
+Safety
LED lights are cool to the touch.
In contrast to most light sources, LEDs radiate very little heat and no ultra-violet
(UV) radiation. In electroluminescence, some energy is dispersed as
heat through the base of the LED. As all of us know incandescent light
bulbs get real hot (over 100oC) to the touch.
LED lighting reduces the potential for safety risks of burns and fires.
Also, LED lighting devices are made from non toxic materials, unlike
fluorescent lighting that uses mercury that may pose a danger to the
environment.
